Ann Gavit

Owner and Teacher

Ann Gavit received her Masters in Teaching with an emphasis in Dance from NMSU.  During her 20 years at NMSU, Ann served as the Dance Program director for two years, the artistic director for the contemporary dance company for 6 years, and the coordinator of the ballet program throughout her time on the faculty. During her performance career, Ann performed with the Denton Civic Ballet and International Dance Theatre of El Paso. She was formerly the artistic director of Ballet de Coeur, a pre-professional children's company. Ann has taught ages 3 through adults at various studios in Las Cruces, Denton, El Paso, and Houston. Ann moved to Tularosa in 2025 where she co-owned 575dance for a year. Due to the move of her co-owner, Ann has decided to rebrand. New name! New space! Same dedication and care!
